Our commitment is simple and non-negotiable: We do not collect, store, sell, or share any of your personal data. The App is purposefully engineered from the ground up to function privately, securely, and completely offline.

To ensure absolute user privacy and safety, the Khmer Calendar app explicitly avoids data collection across all vectors:
No Personal Information
We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or physical address. You can launch and use every single feature anonymously.
No Location Tracking
We do not request access to, track, or store your GPS coordinates or physical location at any time.
No Device Identifiers for Advertising
We do not collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or any unique advertising identifiers.
No User Tracking Across Apps
We do not track your activity across other apps, websites, or external online services.
No Third-Party Analytics SDKs
The App does not bundle any third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral tracking frameworks, or invasive analytics tools.
Information Handled Locally on Your Device
All calculations, state persistence, and preferences are strictly sandboxed inside your local device container:
Computations for Khmer lunar dates, Buddhist Holy Days (ថ្ងៃសីល), solar terms, auspicious directions, and daily horoscopes are performed using local algorithms without sending requests to external servers.
Settings such as dark/light theme, font size adjustments, language selection (Khmer / English), and custom reminder times are saved in your device's local storage (SQLite database / user defaults).
When you enable reminders for Buddhist Holy Days (ថ្ងៃសីល) or custom events, notifications are scheduled and triggered locally by iOS. No notification data is transmitted to or stored on external servers.
Permissions Requested

How to manage: You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your iOS system settings via: Settings > Notifications > Khmer Calendar.
Third-Party Services and Links
The App does not sell, rent, or share any user data with third-party vendors or data brokers.
If the App contains external links (such as to our official website or educational resources), clicking those links will direct you to an external website governed by its own independent privacy policy.
Children’s Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages and fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.
Because we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, we do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from children under the age of 13.
Security
Because all user preferences and saved data remain entirely on your local iOS device, the security of your data is governed by your device's built-in iOS security architecture (including Passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and hardware-level encryption).
We do not operate or maintain any cloud databases holding user information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect updates to the App or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of the policy.
